Legend has it John's buddy Jim Bass is still pumping gas.

Their voices work perfectly together. Yin and yang really. The music is just suave, cool. This song, nothing's ever been lost to time. It's as perfect in 2025 as the day it was released. A gift.

Anyone else who grew up in the 70's grateful that they did?

At 56 now.... life really was so much better then, something happened on the way to 2025 and we're severely off course as a world, here's to all my Generation X brothers and sisters! We are the forgotten, but we grew up through the best decades!

This video would be epic, if Stevie was present and twirling around in the background!

One of the great things about the internet is being able to enter a lyric from a ‘70s song that randomly pops into your head and finding it!

I haven't heard this song since 1981, then today it's playing in the grocery store. Now it's on my phone. One of my memory songs from 1979

The people down there turn the music into Gold! Who else is revisiting 70s vibes on You-Tube other than Dan up in L.I. New York?

Coolness just as it was when this topped the charts in October 1979, personal reflection.. a phenomenal month.

I remember hearing this on the Radio. I came here after learning that John Stewart wrote Day Dream Believer recorded by the Monkees and a few others. As per Professor of Rock & Roll channel

Now this was a great song from the greatest era ever in music. The world is lacking in great music like this now

The deep analogue sound of what sounds like a Moog keyboard gives the song warmth and depth. This is music and melody with the most amazing Stevie Nicks on backing vocals... You can tell what the times were like when you hear songs like this and I wish we were back there.

Never, in my wildest dreams, did i ever imagine times would change THIS MUCH. It blows my mind to no end, I mean sometimes it even seems like somebody else's life, because it's such a different world now. And the music..my heart will forever belong to the 70s and 80s, right there with my best memories.

Happy birthday Stephanie Lynn "Stevie" Nicks who is age 76 today, 5/26/2024. The Queen of Rock 'n Roll doesn't look a day over 36!

This song still sounds just as good in 2024 as it did back in 1979 when I was 10 years old! Thankful to have grown up listening to real music in the 70’s and 80’s. The best of times ☮️ 🕊️

Pumping gas in 1979 paid 2 fifths an hour. I made minimum wage in 1983, it was 3.37 an hour in Connecticut. This song checks out.

This song has been a favorite of mine since I first heard it at eleven years old in 1979. Timeless classic!
