I got so lucky, my 2 boys were free, they were pasture pets, lots of ground work done and they were very loveable and respectful. They gave them away so the brothers could stay together

I paid only one hundred dollars for my mule that was only seven years old and a bay color. She was a little skittish to start with but smart and came around pretty good. She is about fourteen now.

I’m in the UK where mules aren’t really a thing, so when we see that a mule is sold for $30, 000 I almost died 🫣 They’re all gorgeous by the way.😍👏🏻 Thanks for the education ❤

I bred and raised registered Paint Horses and never had experience with mules. My friend bought a really nice mule and started showing her all over the country and winning. I didn't even know before that mule shows were a thing!!

I always wanted mules on my farm but I live a good distance from the farm and I am now too old. I love your herd.

Thanks for your knowledge.
I had one old cowboy told me. “A bad horse eats just as much as a good horse” sure it’s the same for mules.
Take your time to find the best animal for you.

Thx for sharing the info. A mule will just continue to get better with time as long as they TRUST you, they NEVER forget a bad experience, but trust will make your mule a pleasure to be around, and keep you safe in the back country where there is no room for problems. I have 3 mules and 1 saddle horse and it does work to have a saddle horse to keep all the mules around in the back county, they are a bit "herd bound"🤣🤣

This video showed up randomly in my feed. I will never have a mule, those days are behind me now, but I admire them and think they are beautiful, so very much enjoyed this video.

It is so true how important TRUST is, with not just mules but any animal. You have a beautiful herd!

Happy trails!

Another great video that is full of great tips. I remember meeting Jake Clark at the RMEF national banquet in Albuquerque several years ago. He rode his mule through and around the tables during the live auction and jumped it on to the stage! Simply incredible partnership! Again, thank you for sharing and keep ‘em coming!

Having a mare will help keep your mules around, but it can also cause alot of herdbound issues. Another point you mentioned is that little mule that just wanted to push and chase the others around? If you introduce a mule like that to cows, in a proper way, they will be a fantastic cow workin mule. Thats one thing i look for in a young mule, the desire to move other animals around. By the way, i LOVE my jackalope cap!

Never get rid of Riata. Best confirmation I've seen on a mule. Lots of quarter horse in her, especially the short front legs

You guys ever been to Mule Day in Columbia Tennessee? It's a week long starts April the 1st.if not you guys should try to come next year.its the only place I've ever seen another leopard appaloosa mule if in fact that's what Josie is.she is BEAUTIFUL. You hit the Jackpot on her..comparing the qualities in a mule to the qualities in a wife was awesome. You Guys are fun to watch and I wish yall all the best. SAFE TRAVELS.

I went to Jake Clark's Mule sale several years ago. Some extraordinary mules there. High selling that year was a little brown mule that sold for $44, 000. I love mules, but I'm too old to ride anymore. I enjoy watching your channel.

the wife shoutout was super nice 😂❤ i just learned mules could be used for riding - super shocking i know haha. but this video was very informative, thank you! i just want to know everything i can about mules, they seem like tricky but hard-earned animals! That peterson mule was amazing, i hope they sold for $20000 😅

I've wanted horses all my life until I was riding a ridge in Red Rock Canyon (near LV), my horse tripped, and the guide behind me said that's why I ride mules. They don't trip. That would have been good to know before you put me on the giant, ornery beast that didn't want to follow the trail.

Also, try to get a vet to do a pre-purchase exam if possible and refuse to buy from people who dont want you to do that. Will save you a lot of money in the long run to not have a mount with health issues.

P.S. the mules look very loving btw! I love how they were introduced in another video and ran together playing. ;)

Great info. Thx for sharing the details on your kids. Similar here . Seems like I stick around 1000 bucks and I've got lucky!!! Lots of work though. So worth it now.
I don't like the buying or the selling. I'm settled into the fun part now.
Ypu have a great bunch.
