IMO above voltages or basic inherent aspects like quality or a quality 12v rail/transient response....will also largely be a contributing factor towards how viable Overclocking actually is....basic aspects aside like what CPU it is how hot too cool? etc and cooling? and again mainboard/vrm/chipset. Including ram/voltage ranges of course.

It's fun to overclock. The reality is, the only reason I have had one fail is because of overclocking. That was one out of probably hundreds of systems I have worked on or built. I will say, that overclocking has less of an impact on performance now verse CPU's historically so I have taken the more recent course of not doing it anymore outside of checking for overhead and checking synthetic scores afterwards.

Iam tying to get to 4.9ghz i was enabled to get to 4.8ghz on 1.3v stable, i tried I.35v and 1.375v on 4.9ghz but can't get through cinebench

Personally i don't know anyone who have killed their CPU from overclocking. Most people replace their systems entirely after 4-5 years.

Another aspect in regards to is it worth overclocking. Power consumption. How much more does it cost you pr month / year. Electricity cost has gone up 20-25% here during the last year.
