We Got New Pets!! New Family Pets for Trinity and Madison! It's So Fluffy!!! It was finally time to get something to put in our new cage that the girls got for Christmas! Of course they wanted guinea pigs and we couldn't get just one so each girl got to pick out their own. We got two girl guinea pigs and Trinity picked hers out first! On our way home, Trinity's guinea pig decided to pee on her. Madison picked hers out a couple days later at the other pet store. So we now have two new pet guinea pigs and we absolutely love them!

Guinea pigs are great little pets. To all of you out there who want one, please consider checking the local small animal shelters before buying one at a big box store. There are millions of loving piggies out there who need homes. The ones at the stores are often from breeders. Breeding animals when there are already so many available is just wrong.

Things that are wrong

You didn't do any researches before buying them
The cage is very small
You didn't set their cages before buying them
You didn't give them time to get used to you
You suppose to let them be in their cage for 2-3 days before touching them
You suppose to be quite because they can get stressed

Two tips: 1: GET A BIGGER CAGE 2: don’t get pets from pet shops. They get there hamsters by breeding and breeding even if they are sick so try to get them to the vet for a checkup and next time adopted one from a person

Guinea pigs are not at all like rats! They are amazing animals! I have 2 Guinea pigs they make happy sounds when I come in to the room l and they get all happy for treats! There not like rats at all!❤ There kinda like dogs they love chin scratches and hate being alone my Guinea pigs don’t like fruit at all so we have vitamins for them the love vegetables tho

C&C cages are the best cages for space and price.

Also, males are fine together as long as they’re paired young. I have two males and they get along just fine.

Don’t chase the Guinea pigs they will be scarde of you you should leave them alone for at least 5 days then you may start getting used to hanging out with them

i’m glad that they got 2 guinea pigs so they can bond, but the children were trying to pet them way to soon, they were also petting their butts, don’t do that they will think you are trying to hurt them bc they are prey animals

You haven’t done enough research and the cage is definitely too small. Also you should definitely set up the cage before you bring home a guinea pig.
