OK, biggest issue here in terms of it being a modernisation of 'Pygmalion' and/or 'My Fair Lady', the portrayal of Colonel Pickering. i.e. the man with brown hair who's always next to the Henry Higgins character. He keeps rolling his eyes over things Eliza Rocks does or laughing at her with Higgins. And in 'Pygmalion' the difference between him and Higgins (though he's generally in agreement with everything Higgins says and does) is that he has manners while Higgins has none, as Eliza puts it (from memory) "I shall always be a lady to Colonel Pickering and always will be because he treated me as one. And I shall always be a flower girl to Professor Higgins and always will be because he has always treated me as one."

I'm not really sure if 'Living for the City' is appropriate - though maybe if they changed all the lyrics it'll be ok. Might have to cut the fourth verse though, that'll be hard to change.
For those of you who don't know, it's a song about racial discrimination by Stevie Wonder. Definitely recommend it, both the full version and the cut version (that one has only 4 verses instead of 6 and a middle dialogue bit).
But like I said, chances are I'm overthinking this.

They don’t make movies like this that makes me sing along and it’s not a actual musical just regular movie with some good songs in it like why do I remember the words in turn and face the strange
