Many UK citizens would be most surprised to see that the UK is still and has been so high up the list. Not so bad for the 'Sick Man' of Europe and this 'in spite' of Brexit. I have no reason not to believe that this is the case after witnessing the poverty that remains in many countires that are still claiming to be rich and getting richer. For example, India and China, indeed all of the nations that self-deprecating corporations such as the BBC seem to love so very much. The British people as a whole would be better served by undersatnding that when born British they already won the lottery of life, whether they personally feel that they did or not. If you have not managed to chisel out a comfortable and peaceful life for yourself here, then you would have undoubtedly failed to do so living anywhere else.
