Barnet, (I know you already know this.) remember when people make comments about you whether they are good or bad, whatever they say is more about them than it is about you. Consider their state of being which causes them to make such a statement. This approach helps me be compassionate and gives me an opportunity to bring more love and caring into the relationship. Maybe it is just one hug short of completion? But then again, there is no completion of never ending expressions in being.

You can't count normal stresses as 'shadow'. It becomes shadow when you tuck it into the subconscious, Guilt over taking unfair advantage, guilt for using people, etc. If you are in a job that pushes your 'buttons' you can not always blame it on money. Money guilt is just one kind of shadow, Sore spots, or buttons, come from many kinds of things we can not handle, and store up as shadow.

It's funny - you are one of the least arrogant or stuck-up people I've experienced! But, I got a kick out of the whole exchange between the 3 of you about all that. Compassionate  about  yourself  and  others  with  their  weakness,  that  is  what  the  shadow  is  for and the  shadow  is  there  to  protect  me  against  mean  people.  There  are  plenty  of  mean  criminals  whose  are  there  to  hurt  you.
