Decided when I was first introduced to graffiti in 1984 that I loved it and was going to get good at it like the pioneers in NYC. Because I’m from a white privileged neighbourhood out in a wealthy part of the country side I have not managed to be taken seriously as a graffiti artist. Is it possible to get recognition without painting trains or being from the ghetto?
