You can actually predict the movement in 3 body problem, but not in very long run, because it is a chaotic system. Meaning you need exact measurements of the initial condition of all objects, a small perturbation of the measurements will lead to drastic change in the solution, and even more so over time. So even if your measurements are very accurate, due to practice, you cannot predict it in the long run.

With two bodies, you can use two equations with two unknowns and you have a perfect solution. Three bodies on the other hand interact with 6 different singular forces plus 3 derived from the different possible sums of the forces applied by 2 of them combined on the third. So 9 unknowns over 6 basic equations, and the matrix associated with this problem is undeterminable, that's why we cannot find a formula for the three body problem.
