It's Game Over For Toyota! (2025 Hyundai Tucson Limited)

Today I drive and review a 2025 Hyundai Tucson Limited!

Starting at 5:49 those new Santa Fe models are hideous. What a fugly vehicle. Not sure what Hyundai design team was thinking.

Wife and I tested the RAV4 then immediately tested the Tucson. (This was after driving the CX-50 and CX-5 the week before). She immediately stepped out of the Tucson and said “this is the best one yet!”

TBF, the RAV4 they had to test was only an XLE where we tested the top trims on the others, but i think the Tucson had a more premium feel to the interior overall.

And believe it or not, the screens were a HUGE selling point. The RAV4 screen is so freaking awkwardly stuck in the middle of the dash like some monolith. NO thoughts to design. The Mazda’s were really nice (and I prefer their exteriors) but the infotainment was clearly dated compared to even Mazda’s own more recent models like the CX-70. The 360 view was just kind of grainy and meh where the 360 view on the Tucson is hi-res and super nice.

I may regret it later, but I’m letting the infotainment and the interior win on this one and we’re buying a Tucson. I’m also planning this to be a holdover until getting an EV makes more sense in my area.

Toyota will make you pay a premium for the features that Hyundai has with the Tuscon. Some of those features that Toyota dont even offer on the Rav4. My aunt owns a 2022 model Tuscon, and it has been a very reliable vehicle for her. And she gets 3 years of complimentary maintenance.

Hyundai really believes their automobiles will last a long time, my sister bought a new Hyundai Santa Fay and got the Poswer train warranty to 8 years & 150, 000 miles bumper to bumper to 7 years 100, 000. I Have Never Ever Herd Of That...! ! ! 😮

I love my Japanese cars, I also love the Hyundais I almost bought one several times but I was afraid of getting bored with it. I rented a '25 Tucson SEL in silver and loved it!!! I will be buying a '25 Limited in Blue.

The upcoming hybrid model is extremely well done. My local dealer said they should get them by the fall.

I don't think the screens are a fad when Tesla has them. They were the ones who started the screen look on vehicles. Tesla is a very popular car brand. It's just an age demographics thing. My generation is getting older, and new technology can be intimidating to some. Gen Z and Alphas are the tech social media generation. Technology is evolving every day. We either grow to love it or moan about it.

Too much paino black gloss...hate it.. Same way with the new Santa Fe. Both standard engines are very underpowered

At this day and age, go for the hybrid model. Getting 24mpg around down is terrible.

I highly doubt Toyota is very worried lol. Yes, Hyundai kill their interior design compared to Toyota, it's not even close, but once you get past all the shiny objects inside, their engines seem to self destruct at 60k, so I'll keep my Toyota all day long ;)

I think the one screen looks great and it's what attracted me to the Tucson and Sportage

They are going to go away totally with the screens it's going to be put right on the windshield just like the heads up display. Like. It or mot😮😊

Not a Fan of Hyundai/Kia. They may throw in all the bells and whistle but i rather take a Tesla/Toyota or Even Ford.
