This was a blessing. Our Sunday school curriculum for youth forces me to ask questions as the lesson progresses. However, I need to do better at implementing that through out my Wednesday messages rather than at the end. Thanks gentlemen.

We have a Wednesday night service of 65-70 for Students and we literally use that language. "this is not a church" we are apart of this church and even dismiss with, see you guys on Sunday! Our goal is to give them age specific ministry and prepare them to become and serve in the church! We don't have a separate name, vision or mission from the church

Would you say youth group is basically a small group for young people? Like a women's Bible study or Men's Bible study?

It definitely isn’t is own church but there also should be a level of collaboration with some level of creative freedoms to dream and seek guidance from the Holy Spirit of how to walk alongside the unique needs of young people. I’ve just seen where this is used as an excuse to stop being youthful and for pastors to have control freak outbreaks

Only thing that cones to mind is our Christian kids now are extending with the world and then we have a none believer come into the church and instead of them changing to christ we the church change to be accepted by the world .

With all due respect, I don’t think this is a topic of discussion youth and young adults have amongst peers. I think this to me is just reading too much into what it means to gather as believers and can add more confusion to our young believers. This generally isn’t something that needs to be talked about but something that is learned as you grow and mature in your faith, you come to the simple understanding that things within are additions to what you guys like to call in this discussion “the main event”.

Youth ministry is a ministry of the church. It is not a program.

Exegetically Disagree. I love Brothers at 9 Marks but they have been giving lot of strawman in their Missiological/ Ecclesiological understanding of Missions
