Actors are often not able to express themselves cogently bc they are so used to speaking another person’s words. Sometimes it can be painful to listen to them being interviewed. One of the reasons Timothee is so appealing is that he’s so articulate, poised & thoughtful. And no offense to most 22 year old guys, but they’re not always the most eloquent speakers. This kid is. He’s a joy to watch both on & off the screen. The BAFTAS & Oscar’s should give him the award just for the acceptance speech he would give. I’m looking forward to “Beautiful Boy”; it’s based on the life of one of my former students.

Love how he speaks very carefully, choosing his words very deliberately-- the way he voices his thoughts is very complex and eloquent! It's adorable that he still avoids eye contact a little and looks down a lot~ Maybe that'll change as he gets older, but honestly I think it's pretty damn cute and charming.
