The difference is Angel Reese did it out of anger and jealousy and when the game was already decided. Clark did it for a brief moment in front of her team bench and the wave off was a gesture daring her to shoot. All done while the game was still on the line. Huge difference

I think the men’s take on this was way off base I love trash talk and I watched all the games in the final four but I would be hard pressed to remember a time that a man did what angel did and it wasn’t discussed especially with the racial dynamics. The closest I can think of is when Dennis Rodman said what he said about Larry bird. This coverage was not about the sexes because yes men trash talk and I have no problem with angel did but what she did is not common in the men’s game because that definitely would have been a fight.

You all actually did Reese a disservice. We had the “scoreboard” response years ago when a player or team was still talking trash during/after an ass whoopin.

In an opposite way we have a victor, by nearly 20 points, and she can’t help herself but to go taunt the loser WITH a gesture that really isn’t even applicable. We can’t even talk real sports/competition anymore… 🤦🏽‍♂️
