I’m always facilitated with old photos of Tyneside, it’s good to see what was there previously. And what’s still there.

Meet me on the Corner of any street of the City I loved It was not perfect but it was my Home I still live near the coast and last time i visited Newcastle after COVID i could not believe the changes its lost so much of its sole and it will be a very long time before i ever go back I love this video and shows a very different time when we all got along together unlike today where there is division and hate in society I am glad i had my youth when i had it looking back now

Brilliant nostalgia, not only the shops, but I remember the S.E.G. Vans too, thanks, wish I could go back just for a day.

Northumberland street went through a lot of changes
hard to believe now busses went down there
used to catch a bus at the top near BHS to Cruddas park
Handyside arcade was a weekend hang out in the kard bar
was a great place to explore in the early 70's

Does anyone remember the man who for many years played his accordion outside Fenwicks.
He played through all weather's for decades I believe.
