I capture footage of Brandon and friends installing upgraded oil pump gears and a Paxton Supercharger on his 2016 Mustang GT. To our knowledge, nobody has attempted this installation before on a GT with the GT350 intake manifold.

I known "beefcake" forever, so it's always cool to see some other brothas running 5.0's and getting great parts from another great Ford guy to boot.

Great content, subbing for future numbers on Brandon's setup.

His commentary at the end of the video gave me the push to do this work myself, just removed the crank pulley and getting ready to pull the front cover and replace OPG and crank sprocket tomorrow! It's not hard, just real involved and exhausting. Hopefully everything keeps going smooth!

Very nice install video. Smart move going with the oil pump gear upgrade. The weak link in the bottomed of these coyotes when u go Boost. 👍

sweet ride. I love that you guys are modding so much. I have had a couple mustangs and got bit by the aftermarket bug as well. it put me in a lot of debt for a while but damn it was fun lol!

In any forthcoming videos, can we get a shot of the instrument panel as he performs some pulls to get an idea of how much faster his car is with the SC and intake manifold. Thanks!

centrifugal spins faster than a roots style (Whipple /Rouschcharger) . but the roots makes power throughout the rpm range. centrifugal comes on like a turbo around 3500.

How was the fitment of the Paxton? Long ago I installed a Paxton and had problems with the brackets and bolt sizes. On my S197 I went with a V2 Vortech and loved it. Love what you have done to your car and love power adders

Did you have to upgrade your fuel injectors as well? American Muscle says it's required to install the Paxton 8 rib supercharger which is what that looks like.

I'm getting the gt350 manifold, throttle body, and intake put in soon, and I am leaning toward centrifugal later on...any reason for going paxton over vortech? was the oil pump necessary or just preventive safety measure. also, do you think a centrifugal kit specific for the gt350 will work seamlessly without modification on the gt with the gt350 intake manifold? I appreciate your feedback; this build has inspired me. the next thing is the sound, I really like the sound of the positive displacement style blowers (been looking at whipple's kit) and the centrifugal is something new to me but I get to keep weight down and keep the strut tower brace and k brace.

One question, did the PP Mustang S550 come an external oil cooler (a small radiator to cool oil)? Did u see it in front when the bumper came off?

Hey do you know if brandon either deleted or "locked" open the cmcv (charge motion control valves) in his gt350 intake manifold? I've seen alot of people run into issues with tuning after putting a centri blower on even when tuners try to lock them open via tune.
