i LOVE it, he's so chubby and adorable, as a kid i always wished his design was closer to the 64 one!!

They said that they changed his design because it was hard to animate expressions on the previous one. Im absolutely aware that that dedede was very expressive but apparently it was hard to do so they redesigned him at the perfect time to transition to 3d kirbo games.

My only nit pick with this design is really the beak and maybe his stature. I think the beak is too round and playdoughy and imo should be at least a little more triangular like in Crystal Shards. I also would like him to be maybe a _little_ taller, but i don’t really mind his current height too much.

I think his beak looks a bit funny, they should keep this design, but make his face an itty bit more like Star Allies, there’s a mod that does it.

I like the new design i've always liked Dedede but I did like his design most from Dreamland 3/64

This design really captures that one.

I think it may be due to how the other main Kirby characters (Kirby, Bandana Dee, and Meta Knight) are very small and round, so having DDD be tall doesn’t fit, so they make him shorter and rounder to fit in.

While I hate the new design im not mad that it exists because other people like it, but the fact that they changed his design in an old game where already had a good design is what makes me angry

In my opinion it's the worst design. Like, in kirby 64 his design IS serious, but HAL tried to match up his goofness with the kirby 64 design to make him more serious, the result is Club Penguin Dedede
