Psi is The BEST HERO In BTD6 and Here's Why

Psi is the new hero that just came out with the new BTD6 update 26.0. He is a psionic monkey that might just be the best hero that Bloons has ever seen.

This video sets out to give an overview of Psi, cover his strengths and weaknesses, and show a great strategy on how to use Psi effectively in a run. Plus I add some tips and trick for how to get even more out of Psi.

What I find cool is the 0-2-5 glue gunner, ice tower, and boomerang monkey together can stun d.d.t's to about round 150. And if you have all the towers that can stun you can stun quite a few round 200 d.d.t's.

I tested this hero out in sandbox and although his psionic scream takes longer to work on later rounds it appears to do damage in % as it still one-shots all bloons on rounds 400+. He also appears to have a pierce cap somewhere around 10, 000 bloons but that many never appear in a real game so it doesn’t matter too much. The best ability usage I could get was against about 5-6 clumps of 999 invisible bloons gaining 30 billion pops after the ability.

IMO he's good but he is a little weak in early game. He can't lvl up fast enough to lvl 20 for r100 either without spending money on him. His grouped popping power is weak and he loses to r27 alone. He's somewhat balanced but the only thing I would buff is his earning xp rate

Level 10 psionic scream blows back around half of the bloons, and destroys the other half, and level 20 just annihilates everything on screen that isn't a BAD

Pop them next to a 5-0-2 sub. Level up faster, abilities recharge faster. Also very good for popping large numbers of weak bloons.

Biggest Downside by far is the slow leveling. They won't be lv 14 when you start getting Moabs, they won't be 16 for BFB, they won't be 20 before DDT's, and they can't hurt BADs. They are still immensely powerful for clean up though. having your other towers pop a moab and then Psi just insta kills all the ceramics inside is definitely powerful for sure. Kinda wish at least the abilities worked on BADs woulda been nice to have another late game hero that could push up to the multiple hundreds of rounds.

psi can make a regrow farm
at level 8 psi attack gains Destructive Resonance which "causes Bloons destroyed by Psi's main attack to damage other Bloons nearby."
