Anyone else getting laggy video on LMG clips? I only get it on this channel, but the audio still works fine.

As someone who works in the AV industry, harmony was really the only consumer remote with the functionality that most people want in a universal remote. There are other options that are out there like RTI/ProControl, Crestron, and Savant. The problem with those companies is that you have to have a AV integrator and you cannot do your own configurations without them.

I have three Harmony Hubs and I dread buying new AV equipment as I'm always concerned that something is going to go wrong and I'll not be able to add another device. The arbitrary limit on devices is frustrating as well.

From my experience with Sofabaton X1, which is my daily remote for months, it has some growing pains, but I've watched it get updates and each update works better and better. It's not perfect, but it's the best solution to remote clutter I've seen.

Got my Harmony remote years ago, love it. With that said, yes it has deficiencies but better than others overall imo. A worthy successor would be nice.

HUGELY interested in an LTT review on this subject!! I have 4 Harmony Elite remotes for 2 bedrooms and 2 living/family rooms. My setup is fairly fancy. All receivers in a rack in the basement. Prewired in wall enclosed speakers. Cat 6 cables run to AV stations in the rooms to pass 4k video, IR remote and reverse audio. Hamony hub was the only thing to make it possbie. Quite interested in a worthy successor

I don't understand how Logitech could take a successful and robust product like harmony and kill it so fast .

For me hdmi cec turned out OK - I use one remote for my LG oled, ps5 and Google TV so it's good enough. I don't have a fancy Amp tho, just a soundbar so I can imagine that it adds to complexity of the setup

Please make a video on Harmony alternatives. We love our Harmony remotes, but when they eventually die... what will we replace them with???

I've been dabbling with ESPHome and an ESP based IR remote from adafruit, automating some features with Home Assistant. Plex also has built in MQTT with Home Assistant, so you could set a variety of things with that as well.

My current Harmony remote is now 700 dollars on amazon and I love it so much. The philips hue buttons on it are great for quickly changing the atmosphere. I'm bummed they're giving up.

Theres beautiful options that are so much better than Harmony like Savant, Control 4, and even URC. Harmony is good for small setups.
