Why did Jinx cut her hair in Arcane? The reason Jinx cuts her hair in Arcane season 2 ending episode was because hair was becoming a technical issue. Arcane Animator Landres revealed that the directors wanted to ditch her long braids because animating them while she’s flying on a skateboard was a nightmare. Another reason is because In League of Legends, Jinx keeps her braids, but the showrunners thought it’d be cool to change up her look, just like how Caitlyn has an eyepatch in Arcane!

I based my oc off jinx when they got older, they also had really long blue hair but had an identity crisis, visions and they ended up cutting off their own hair I really relate to jinx in some way and her sadness as a child was how i felt This show has a special place in my heart so glad im apart of the fandom 💕

Yeah she also cut them because several times she had been in a fight where someone had caught them trailing behind her and yanked her back causing her to lose the fight

Honestly, the short cut would have suited her if it was a cleaner buzz and she wasn't flying around with little rat tail stragglers. The bangs were still cute at least, but damn. Ekko could have helped her out with the back!!!

Also they've animated her braids amazingly so far - y'all really telling me it was any more of a nightmare than all the other fight scenes? Or were you just tired? It's ok to be tired.
