Allan holdsworth. What a man he was and what a man he will always live on to be. A true guitar legend. I Will never forget the day his music opened my eyes to the world of jazz/fusion. It was so magical and surreal finding his work, it sparked emotion and a vibe inside of me that was of another planet. What a mystical bastard!

Top quality everything. I'm saddened to hear. Saw him at the Jazz Cafe in London in the mid 90s more or less, and as an amateur guitarist that I was, thought he'll warm up over the 1st couple of tunes then work up to the fancy stuff as his fingers relax er no! after an introduction that sounded like an alien species' national anthem he then proceeded to rip my eyeballs out of my head by I fairly estimated was every note on his cricket bat guitar. Incredible night of music.

Thank you Rick Graham for remembering Allan Holdsworth with this touching song! Allan and his music showed me a different way to approach listening to music. I feel fortunate to have gotten to see clips of him playing as i was never able to see him live. I really respected his humility, kindness and his wonderful sense of humor. His music will continue to amaze me and be something i'll continue to listen to as much as i can. None of his compositions have ever grown old to me. They are as fresh each time i listen to them as they were the first time i heard them. Thank you Mr. Holdsworth. I mourn your passing with your family and your other fans.
