How To Slide Turn Transition

I'm 71 and started kitesurfing in 2019 only - very late, isn't it? But I stil want to be a kiter, a good, not necessarilly professional, but enough skilled to have fun. Great video. One dilemma I have is whether to watch the kite or watch the board. It’s difficult to do both. Probably I should know where the kite is, but as a beginner (ish) I find it helpful to check where the pesky kite actually is!

Great advice, probably the best on the internet! Turning fast is crucial for many reasons. Unfortunately, I tried to turn fast at winds > 25 mph and got airborne. Maybe I did not sheat out enough or raised the kite too fast or both. After my landing the kite continued to loop though no visible tangle of lines was detected, so I had to release it. I still don't quite understand why it was looping.

Im doping this transition quite nicely now. But my turn is very wide, I should work on sharpening the turn.
