Thousands of Armenians gathered in the Armenian capital Yerevan on 23 April to mark the 98th anniversary of the mass killing of Armenians by Ottoman Turks nearly a century ago, and urged Turkey to admit they committed genocide against their ancestors. Crowds of young mourners came to the central square carrying national flags and torches prepared for the procession.
