Some of Our Favorite Travel Videos We Think Other Travelers Would Love

Our Travel Gear:
Microsoft Surface, Travel Laptop: We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

Camera Sony Alpha Series: We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

Western Dynamics 4 TB external hard drive. This let's you save your pictures and videos from your SD cards while you travel without having to use a computer.

Manfrotto Tripods: We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Our Packs/Luggage: Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here

Need some clothing for your next adventure? Patagonia has some pretty good stuff for all kinds of travelers.

I find the food better overall in European parks (with the exception of Disneyworld and Dollywood which has some truly exceptional restaurants). Europa Park is one of our favorite places in Germany. We are theme park crazies - my husband wrote the travel guide for Dollywood (Dollywood and Beyond) as well as a travel guide to Disney Parks around the world (World Travelers Guide to Disney - which includes Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris and Shanghai), as well as just a memoir about theme parks (The Ride of Your Life - 25 Reasons Why Theme Parks are Modern Shrines). We love traveling internationally and locally and wherever we go - we go to a theme park - it really is the example of doing what the locals do. You are immersed in their culture and have fun at the same time. This summer because of the virus we are just hitting domestic parks - Hershey in July, Dollywood and Universal in June, Disney in September and Holiday World in August. The best thing about USA parks is the soda size and refillable mugs! I need my Diet Coke and can never get enough of it in Europe :) Thanks for the video! Great content as always!

As a coaster enthusiast the biggest difference is that amusement parks in the US and Canada are more focused on rides and rollercoasters while amusement parks in Europe are more focused on theming and making an experience

I have been to the amusement park in Vienna. My mom and I rode the Ferris Wheel, it was an amazing view. But I didn’t realize I was in amusement park until you said something. I am used to Disney and Universal where it clearly obvious you are in an amusement park.

Where I live in the UK we have Legoland Windsor, Chessington World Of Adventures and Thorpe Park all on the outskirts of London. We have Alton Towers in the Midlands which is absolutely massive.

Great video! Some of the best theme parks in Europe in my opinion are Europapark in Germany, PortAventura in Spain and Liseberg in Sweden. We have also been to quite a few theme parks in America, my favourites there are Disney World, Universal and Knotts Berry Farm🎢 Greetings from a theme park loving family in the UK 🇬🇧

Love Disney and Universal. The Wizarding World is so amazing, Universal did a great job replicating Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.

Alton towers in the UK is probably the best park here. I went on school trips there and a couple of times as an adult too. Very rollercoaster oriented but still plenty for the pre-teens too.

Loved the "Single Ride Lane" in Europa Park here in Germany last year. If you're not with a group and are open to ride alone (or with a stranger next to you), you can skip lots of waiting. :)

This is great and it comes at a perfect time for me and my partner! We were just researching European theme parks 2 days ago, so this video really helps clarify what to expect :)

Busch Gardens in Williamsburg is a great amusement park we've been to that has an international theme and isn't as crowded as Disney or Universal. I also loved Silver Dollar City and Celebration City (both in Branson, MO) as a kid. Sadly, Celebration City has been closed for good. :(
