ok, this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. People's taste and olfactory senses are different. some people hate the taste of cilantro or olives while others love them. That smell / taste bias exists in each person and what may be delicious and awesome to me is repulsive to someone else. My wife, for example, hates the smell of orange-scented food and I love it. I'd be put off that I am eating something that someone else decided tastes good to them when I may otherwise not enjoy the experience as much.
