This tune was a big hit when I was around 15. While vacationing I met this lovely young lady and we walked down the beach to a amusement park, hand in hand, . She was from Braintree MA., and I was from CT. We had a wonderful innocent night together, Took pictures in a photo booth and walked hand in hand back along the beach. I don't
remember her name. but I am 75 today and after all those years, I have to say, it was one of the most romantic moments of my life .We drove home and this tune was on the radio, and all I could only think of her. One of my favorite memories.

This tune/lyrics came barging into my thoughts yesterday as I was walking in the middle of nowhere with my dog! I was Feeling Sad, missing my long past childhood days with my Mom….I remember my Mom singing along with this song…I never knew the singers name, but the words and voice stayed with me all these years.❤ What a treat it was to hear it again….just proves that even the smallest of things we experience in our lifetyme can be turn out to be remembered by someone else as the BIG things! Always remember …someone is watching..and lifetyme memories are being made❤

I sang this song to my precious husband, MSGT Verl L. King USAF Ret, as he was dying in July 2020.
We shared 47 years of devotion to each other. He is in the Fort Leavenworth National Military Cemetery in Kansas. God bless him.
