Candi Sewu is an eight century Mahayana Buddhist temple, located 800 meters north of Prambanan archeological site in Central Java, Indonesia.

Candi Sewu is the second largest Buddhist temple compound in Indonesia. 'Sewu' means 'Thousand' in Javanese language. But Sewu temple only has buildings of 257 with 1 main Temple, rest are Pewara, or guardian Temples.

This temple is also called as Manjusrigrha (The house of Manjusri)
Manjusri is a Bodhisattva from Mahayana Buddhist teacher.

Candi Bubrah

Candi Bubrah is the Buddhist temple located in Candi Prambanan archeological site. It was named Bubrah because, when this Temple was discovered, it was in broken and scattered condition. 'Bubrah' means 'damaged' in Javanese language.

Candi Lumbung

Candi Lumbung is 9th century Buddhist temple compound located in the complex of Prambanan temple tourist park, Central Java, Indonesia. Local Javanese call it a rice barn temple.
