Lived here for 7 years and visited 7 x previously. I miss walking my dog around this city. It’s small compared to others. Never got bored of it. Back home in Australia with my dog now, it’s been almost a year, and I wish I could return to Zagreb and walk around these streets again. Wonderful parks, and there’s amazing houses around Britanski trg and behind it. Thanks for this video, I feel like I was there again!

Was one of my highlight cities around Europe. Very nice people and amazing architecture made everyday an interesting walking adventure as seen in this video. Accommodation and food were cheap and good quality. Would love to go back as Jack did!

Thanks for posting, Jack. I was there in 2009, and loved it as you do, especially from the main square & going up the hill to the south. There was a great flea & farmer's market in the square (Saturdays), spread out on 2 levels, and a Nicola Tesla museum (in another part of town). Zagreb was a gem - I hope it doesn't wind up way over-touristed like Dubrovnik, Porto, and other smallerer cities.

Wow ! €12 for a haircut in a hair salon is extremely good value. Even at a Barber in Edinburgh it will cost you €20 at least and they dont even wash your hair! fascinating video, Thank you!

St Mark's is not a cathedral. It's a church.

I used to live in Croatia 20 years ago I was laughing when you called the 'old tram'' a Yugo tram, that was the new trams when I lived there they bought them from Austria. 90% of them really were old Yugo trams then

Zagreb is a typical Central European city with socialist construction in the New Zagreb, certainly not the Balkan!
