I’ve spent 20 minutes barefoot in nature every day for 20 days in a row. I want to see if my feet can get tougher and stronger in such a short time. Usually I wear barefoot shoes. They are already a big help in regaining the feet's natural potential and strength. But it is still a barrier between me and the rough forest floor. Can my bare feet handle gravel, mud, wood and everything else what nature throws under my feet?
To get some sort of comparison before and after, I run a 500 meter course completely barefoot. The limit is not my strength or endurance. It depends on how sensitive and vulnerable my feet are to the rough forest floor. If I run the course faster after the 20 days my feet should have gotten tougher.

I love hiking barefoot in the forest after it has been raining. The forest floor is soft and damp even muddy with occasional mud puddles.

You need to put in the kilometers . My feet are very calloused on their soles because of jogging and hiking in barefoot footwear. I have run over 600km this year and our feet look not alike.

I am in transition. But I did barefoot without protection, it is the best but it is necessary to walk slow. In the cities we need protection. I will tray fivefingers next. Have a nice life.
