As much as I love the blue colored dorsal plates, I really wanted a normal version of this toy. So much so that I bought two of the original release with the intent of removing the blue from one of them, though I never got around to it. Glad to see this finally came out, though I don't understand why it took five years to release it when the unpainted mold could've been in the market sooner, it's not like Godzilla's design changed at all until halfway through GxK.

It's so weird. I was not a fan of the original (don't ask why, even I don't have a clue), but for some reason seeing this version puts a big goofy grin on my face. I'm definitely a weirdo who likes Gray Void Goji figures more than most others. Paired with the 2019 Shodaigoji and the Gemstone Godzilla from Gigan Rex, and the trio is complete!
