Was great meeting and diving with you during your visit!!

What would be the advantages over the French Triton (CE certified, 100m) apart from weighing a bit less?

Achim, people may accuse you of being many things…but “not serious” is almost certainly at the very bottom of that potential list haha. Thanks for the candid and in-depth video. I also get annoyed at the “keyboard Sheck(s)” as I call them, constantly scolding/whining about Gus and Woody (and others) not meeting their exacting expert standards. Yeah, they’re not perfect and they say/do dumb things occasionally on their videos which can be frustrating. But their hearts are clearly in the right place, and their general goofy behavior brings some much needed levity and fun thats necessary to attract new young divers.

Safety is serious, but too many divers act like they’re James Cameron diving the Challenger Deep - rather than someone enjoying their fun hobby; full of self-importance and jumping at any excuse to put down others to show their peers how smart/skilled they are. Especially in the tec/cave world.
Folks like DiveTalk are a counterbalance to that - which we need. Otherwise the only new tec divers will be more middle-aged bitter white male dentists. And regardless, love them or hate them…pound for pound those two have done more for recruiting/educating the general public into/about diving than probably anyone else in the last 5 years.

We have been waiting a long time to see this video. It must be a great unit for someone like you to be apart of their family and team.

Great video. I understand the tank does not come with it. Does the computer you showed that attaches to your arm come with it or is that extra? Also wondering is it manual O2 fill? Just some questions I have. Very interesting unit. Looking at getting one but want as much information that I can get before making a decision.

When I saw the first pictures of the Go, I was immediately reminded of the OMG Gastoro and similar form factor rebreathers that you seem to quite like. One question I have about traveling with rebreathers: How do you manage to get a full oxygen tank and where do you get the sorb? Is that easy in any country or do you have any tricks? Currently on a dive vacation in Brazil, and I can't even find tanks with a DIN valve..

Great unit! Really simple set up, well presented. I assume it's a manual CCR, diver checks the readout of the O2 partial pressures and adds O2 when required. With a constant flow of 0.7l/min that would be would still be fairly frequently. Can you change the 02 flow rate or is it set?
I'm guessing the diluent is added automatically by the second stage on top when the counterlungs deflate and the diver inhales.

Nobody is mentioning the advertising price problem, unit on this price which is constantly mentioned as a major advantage and for sure would be over some other units does not come ready to dive. Actual price of the unit ready to dive is more that double or I am missing something?

I had an inspiration classic.
Last year I did some on the Triton.
Just a 10ltr cylinder on my back.
No carrying a heavy unit with site bail out.
I love to try out this system.
Where in EU is this possible?
Nice presentation.

Hi Achim . Non diver re breather question.
Why doesnt the outside perimeter of the cannister not become a path or track ? Where the zorb meets the cannister walls, the outer layer must rest against a smooth surface ?
Obviously it works, I was just curious.

So one question that arises...despite you beeing enthusiastic, is it CE certified? If breathing is so fantastic, and all is neat, it for sure has no problem with that. Any info on that?

Could it be used as a BO for a larger unit? I’m not ccr trained yet but will be on a BM o2ptima later this spring. Not looking forward to carrying the BO tank(s) but excited otherwise.

Great video, happy that you confirm that the front mounted Dive Talk Go is a great unit. You still do not like being controlled by a machine and still do not trust eCCR ! No redundancy for Ppo2 display ? Kind Regards

Looks a lot of absorbent in there compared to say a canister in an ap?

Hi Achim, hope you are doing well
Messaging you not for the dive talk go but about your O2 rebreather courses.

If not I’ll be in Switzerland next Christmas and my be able to travel to you in Germany 🇩🇪
