Too much nationalism.
We are Asian people and appreciated seeing people from all over the world visiting the ancient structures and proud of historical sites in Asia. But we would be more proud if tourists would be informed about the fact of origins of these giant buildings.
We want tourists and archaeologists to learn the true history of what they saw or traveled thousands of miles to see. You don't just come to see it because of its beauty or amazingness. But you should also be aware of the true history. Not here to be tricked into believing.
It is not acceptable the distortion of history just so that the rulers of some countries can arouse nationalism among the people for political gain and to influence them, easier to govern. But most importantly, then tourists get the wrong information. It's so wrong that we even sometimes don't know who really built those ancient architectures.
