Milwaukee police release footage from gas station shootout between officers, suspect

Milwaukee police released body camera and security footage Aug. 1 showing a July 17 shootout at a Capitol Drive gas station between officers and a wanted 22-year-old Milwaukee man who allegedly shot two of his family members the day before.

The shooting occurred at a gas station at 4302 W. Capitol Drive that ended with officers taking Jayuntae Gregory into custody.

Videos show the suspect disregarding police commands, firing his gun at them and, as the nearly 10-minute standoff progresses, he attempts to leave the gas station and shoots at officers again, before being shot by police.
