Myanmar remains torn in a bloody civil war more than three years after a military coup toppled its democratically elected government. The ruling junta has resorted to desperate measures, including by enacting military conscription and adopting a defensive posture, to control an insurgency led by ethnic rebel forces and pro-democracy militias. As violence rages, neighbouring Thailand has grown increasingly worried that conflict will spill over the border. Experts weigh in on how Myanmar can carve a path to peace.

Sadly, Myanmar has no future with their Current Path. Even if the NUG take control again, it will only lead to the Balkanization of the Country.

Several Ethnics Rebel groups too know that, hence, that is why they are using the guise of "fighting" the SAC to increase their area of control and influence.

But I do hope Myanmar can resolve this conflict peacefully.
