Must Have Tool For Tile Jobs

Tile is hard work! Make it a little easier and faster with this must have tile tool.. the roller bucket! This Rubi cleaning kit has sped up and improved our grouting process since we purchased it and we feel like it was WELL WORTH the money... even for just a single tile job. The alternative of course is a sponge and a 5 gallon bucket, which is messier, slower, and destroys the skin on your hands! Also learn lots of great pro tips about grouting tile! We are using a Mapei sanded grout with sealant additives so it doesn’t need to be sealed later.

You guys are awesome... I've been preaching this to my wife since we bought this house. If I use it one time and it's easier it's worth the money... I'll be using all your videos eventually...lol... So keep them coming.... Thanks

Pant knee pads. So sweet. Got the helly hansons pants with the pouch pockets and knee pads. Everybody on the crew laughed now. At least 4 other people have them.

I'm on a tight timeline and my tile setter canceled out (Covid, remember that?) so the tile was up to me. I bought the Rubiclean Eco system and lucked upon this excellent video. Thanks for the tutorial Mr. Perkins, very well done!

Wish we had these years ago. Back in the day 2 of us would drag large wet bath towels over big tiled floors to clean grout off, left a perfect finish just like a wash boy. Back breaking work.

I have one of those sponges, works really well. Honestly I would have let it dry after that first pass and just buffed any haze the next day with a dry towel.

I've considered getting that grout bucket many times. Wringing the sponge is definitely the hardest part of grouting since you have to wring it almost dry to do it right, unless you're using cement grout.

Thanks for the Video HiMay! Lol!

That's the best 40 bucks a person can spend on the tile job! They keep a newb from digging into the grout and removing too much as well. We use those same ones also. And we also use barwalt ultra's and that system is great if you do larger jobs with a lot of different types of grouts. The interchangeable grout float was a game changer for us. Of course that's been a couple of years ago now. They definitely make quick work of the fast set grouts like ardex fl, power grout, prism, etc. Which is all we use. Ardex is our go to for thinsets and grouts. Check em out Perkins!
Also, since these 2ft to 8ft long large format tile have bows in them and you can't pull off a 100% flat floor without them, we use the levtec anti lippage system. Best clips and wedges of all the systems we've used. Anti lippage systems are great for diy'ers as well, even on standard tile.

Appreciate all the content y'all put out. Love the channel. 👍

Try using the white pad float the green one is harder then the white ones. The green is meant for epoxy grout and the white is for normal grouts. I tend to fill the grout lines better with the white float. Looks great man.

Are you wearing crocs with socks on a job site? I just stepped on my first nail and I know I'm crazy by wearing sneakers. Got boots but I hate wearing them
