Johnny c'est sans aucun doute le meilleur interprète de rock francophone (gestuelle, puissance vocale, tempo..), il n'avait rien à envier aux anglophones. De plus rappelons aussi que chanter en français du rock c'est moins évident pour faire sonner les mots

Probably my favourite version of what I regard as the greatest rock song ever. The melody is just fantastic and offers all the musicians ample opportunity to strut their stuff, improvise and just go with the flow. Masterful song, masterful rendition. Johnny was a phenomenon* with an incredible voice ... never to be seen or heard again. RIP

* And may I just add: and so was "Smoking" Serge Gainsbourg. A different genre altogether, but equally brilliant. Search YT for Serge Gainsbourg - Sorry Angel (Live au Zénith de Paris 1988) and see what I mean. RIP
