Tatum, well, he did everything else. He rebounded, he set up his teammates, he defended.
But people see what they wanted to see. And Brown's efforts were just.. more visible. Not to discount anything Tatum did. He probably did a whole lot more. That said, it could have gone either way and I wouldn't have complained. 🤷

And that's why he got Finals MVP as a celtics fan. Yes, tatum had a good series, too. He deserves his flowers, but jaylens' defense is what got him that MVP. no, we might not have locked down, luka, but taking the ball out of his hands in game 5 and making PJ Washington bring the ball up changed their offense so much. I love this team, and hopefully, we can do it again in the next 2 years!
