Yeah in India we don't have a freezing winter but, we still have tons of potholes. Depends on the quality of asphalt as well I guess.

I am wondering how much wider flatter contact patch tyres under heavier vehicles traveling slightly faster over wet roads cause potholes by increasing the hydraulic pressure of the water under them.
The biggest example is a truck super single carrying 4 tonnes.
