I agree, but let's look at the silver lining for a minute. Maybe lip filler is all she can afford right now, maybe she's not had the disposal income or time to spend on herself before. Maybe she just getting her toes wet.. the lip filler will be a starting point for other full face procedures. Maybe she loves lipstick, maybe her lips were beautiful in her youth, and she wants to recapture a bit of that. Since so many are doing it, it's become more normalized, a fast fix, a small spot of hope.

I'd embrace at this as an opportunity to introduce a few supplemental procedures for her to consider in the future. Just my POV, but any step towards self care is a positive move, no matter how small! 🌱

Women with thins lips, in my observation, as they age tend to have cracks, reduced volume which reveals your age. Full lips are reminiscent of someone who is more youthful also known as a secondary sex characteristics.

I respect that it's a personal choice. I used to think I would want it for myself. Seeing so much of it over several years now, has somehow turned me off of it though. Something about the smoothness is uncanny. I feel like a touch of vertical line texture gives lips an aesthetically pleasing naturalness.

I'm 62. I do get lip filler and my face doesn't do that. I have worked on my face at 47 after a car accident. I'm glad that the had filler to help me. I have worked out moderately all my life it shows.

Good morning Doc. I don't think I would get a lip filler procedure done. You introduced microneedling and I've done it several times. I'm now getting it dine 3 or 4 times pee year and I've noticed my lips appear Fuller and natural. I'm pleased with this procedure. Thank you for your content I love it. One Love 🇯🇲

Too funny! I do not envy you in that situation! I would like fuller lips but I already know I would look like a Carp. I had an incident where I had an allergic reaction to a new toothpaste. My lips swelled up the size of Mick Jagger's. I looked hideous! I laugh now but big lips are not for everyone!! Lesson learned! Ugh...

I was with a friend she suggested to we should "walk in" lip fillers. I wouldn't trust a salon to inject something into me. Too many think its just like getting a hair cut.
