Let's take a first look at Visual Studio Codespaces, the Cloud-hosted development environment accessible from anywhere.

It is based on VS Code, it supports debuggin and extensions, and it's super easy to use. I love it!

Does it work on Android? Seems like it would be a great way to make a DEX phone into a real development computer.

How can I open `localhost:3000` when using codespace?
I'm using webpack for one of my project and it starts development server on port 3000, but since I'm using vscode codespace...I don't know the way to access port 3000 and view on the browser

Most functionality works fine on my iPad Pro 12.9", running iPadOS 13.6. One persistent issue, though, is that icons don't load on the activity bar for extensions with their own icon, so I can't open their side bar panels. For me, this is a pretty big issue, especially considering all the Azure development I do, and the functionality I'm missing from the Azure extensions. I've tried using Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Have you given it a try on an iPadOS/iOS device?

One correction: you pay for the stored data, even if the environment is suspended. One question how much ram uses the web version?

Although this looks promising, using something more mature like cloud9 will be a better choice.
