LAURANA (Fiumana ( now Neraïda) , built 1939 (nave soccorso) -
built by the shipyards of the Quarnaro di Fiume ( Rijeka ) along with her sistership Abbazia )
originally a passenger ship converted into a Minesweeper / Guardship in 1940, in 1941 she was converted into a Rescue Ship / Hospital ship for rescuing sailors from sunken ships and pilots from down aircraft along with the hospital ship Arno, she also served in Tripoli, Libya and in Tunisia during the battle of north Africa. in 1943 she taken over by British forces in the port Valletta after italy surrendered to the allies and was transferred to Malta.
And she would later serve as rescue ship in the Royal Navy's Sea Transport Service, as an auxiliary patrol vessel HM Laurana.
After the war, in 1945, the British refused to return the Laurana to Italy . In March 1946 the ship was still in service for the Royal Navy, and on July 5 1945 she was sold it to the Malta Steam Shipping Company and served until 1948. In late 1948, she was sold to Greek Giannis Latsis ferry and shipping company and served as a passenger ferry and cargo vessel named Neráïda until 2009 in the Saronic Gulf , traveling to and from the islands of . She also served as a floating office and hotel for engineers and Latsis executives in the Saudi Arabia ( 1976 - 1978 ) before returning to Greece. in 2010v she was converted into a floating museum in Phaleron Bay, Piraeus in the Isthmus of Corinth.

I couldn't hear the name of the other surviving ship in Croatia. Was anyone else able to make out what the name of it?
