War in Ukraine 'would never have happened if I was president': Donald Trump

Donald Trump says Russia’s conflict in Ukraine would never have erupted into war if he was the sitting president of the United States.

"That war would have never happened," Mr Trump told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

Mr Trump said scenes of destruction and death coming out of the embattled eastern European nation were "terrible".

"What's happening is horrible," he said.

"Far more people are dead than you think.

"Such a stupid war."

One thing Trump should be applauded for when dealing with Kim un. Trump said Kim stated he had a red button. Trump stated he had a bigger red button and it works. Sometimes it's necessary to let your adversary know you walk softly but carry a very big stick. That is the only way to get people like Kim un to understand what respect is.
