Legion 5 4600h here! Absolutely fantastic cooling, build and access to the inside. Spilled milk on it (very stupid) so naturally it shorted inside but no worries, after opening it drying and cleaning the milk from the circuitry the laptop powered back on as nothing happened! Really reliable.

So I bought the predator Helios 300 with 3060 and 10870H but returned it as I saw a 10k price drop during my return period. And ram came in single channel 16GB.
So I also saw the nitro with 5800h and 3060 with a qhd panel just got out. I've seen in benchmarks and while playing in the predator the cpu usage is quite high(played rdr2, horizon zero dawn, Valhalla, ms flight simulator) others like valorant, Forza horizon 4, gta 5, WWE 2k20 the cpu usage was fine. In warzone I saw the cpu spiking some times to a 80%(Rare but yeah noticeable). Even in rdr2 the cpu would normally be around 50 with some spikes to 60-65. I recorded gameplay with xbox gamebar first it was fine then frames dropped like hell so used nvidia features to record and it was fine. So coming to 5800h I noticed that the 5800h cpu usage is quite low in games in rdr2, zero dawn, etc. So I was wondering if the 10870H will bottleneck my 100w 3060 in the future. Also in msi afterburner the cpu usage doesn't match with the task manager. The cpu would run at 4ghz with temps exceeding 85 rarely. I played marvel avengers too and the CPU usage was pretty high there too(spikes to 80 at times). I played all of the mentioned games in highest settings except in rdr2 advanced graphics was off. In cyberpunk rtx on dlss quality I got 48-52fps. In cinebench r23 I got 9.8k without any undervolt and I used throttlestop to set all cores to 45 atleast and all other apps were closed. so should I go for the Helios and make it dual channel or should I go for the nitro and make it dual channel too. Nitro has a qhd screen but a -15w 3060. I'm pretty confused af.

Legion 5 laptop with Rtx 3070 and AMD 5600h… performs quite well in most tripple A games. New released God of War is the only game so far, the machine struggled to get 1080p on high settings. Overall I would say the 5060H is capable to run with a RTX 3070 without creating a too big bottleneck and therefore a decent option for mid range gaming setups.

My friend has Lenovo legion 5 Pro 2021 - absolutely great device, low gpu / cpu (70/75) temperatures in hard games! Nice design, solid assembled, awesome screen with 2560*1600 resolution!
