4 70’s Japanese Vent Fans | New Acquisition + Show & Tell!

I've travelled long distances to acquire fans, and I've also acquired multiple fans in a single purchase, but I think this lot beats all those experiences 10 fold.

There's no other word for it, the experience of purchasing these approximately 50 year old new old stock fans in an out of town location is like Heaven on Earth for me! The chance of finding all these fans without flying to Japan or working out how to win Japanese auctions & ship everything to Indonesia is almost none. Better yet, I paid far below the current price of SMC's K36 in HK for all these 4 fans!

You might not understand why I'm freaking out over regular vent fans, but trust me, these fans have their own values to me. I've been a fan of Japanese vent fans since kindergarten. Probably because my kindergarten & old house had 80's Sanyo vent fans ranging from 10" to 16" in them.

I've explained how wonderful each fans are to me & their unique features in the story I told in the video, and I will go into further detail once I get around to filming each one of these fans, but I'll say it again. These fans are AWESOME!

And for further context, it took me about 2 Hours & 10 Minutes in total from the second I got in my car & drove off, until I dropped the fans off in my outdoor workshop. That's how close the seller is. Not within my city, but just near enough that I can take use of the nearly empty highway & get myself to meet them in no time.

Some of those vent fans have 5 blades and others have 6. Which one is quieter in your opinion?
