Mind blown sa rule #1 because I've been using the British English punctuation all this time! There were also times that I still add a period after the quotation mark even when the quote was a question like in the rule #3 example because I thought of it as a quoted question within a sentence, so I would write/type it as *Lily asked, "Did you stay up for the fireworks display?".* Thank you for this video, Coach Lyqa! I'm learning something new in every video that I watch in preparation for my the exam in March.
