Michael Bolton - Said I Love You...But I Lied out now!

"Said I Loved ...You But I Lied" is a song I wrote with Mutt Lange, at his house in England. The power of the message came through the chorus — that could be very misleading if you took the title on the face of it "Said I Loved You but I Lied."

But if you listen to the rest of the lyrics it's because the word love isn’t big enough to describe what you're feeling for someone. It's probably my favorite recording that I ever made.

It's an incredible experience having 60 plus symphony orchestra musicians playing these beautiful arrangements of some of my favorite songs. It brings so much more dimension to songs I've recorded, some I've written, a lot of them hits of mine but that I've been performing all around the world for about 35 years. Now I get to experience the width and breadth of the emotional content of the songs, transformed through this amazing group of arrangements that is this symphonic orchestra album. It’s truly a dream come true for me.

The album, A Symphony of Hits, which includes Said I Loved You...But I Lied, debuted number #1 on the Billboard Classical Album Chart in 2019.
