So do you control a single ship in this game, or an entire fleet? And can you have ships from different races? (I'm not really watching the video, but this game looks good)

@SadisticStang There needs to be some balancing factor put in that acts both ways, as you said the large ships cannot hit frigates so there should be something similar acting the other way, the difference in health isn't that great since you have no hope of damaging a frig with large guns. Frigates should deal a very small amount of damage to battleships. As you see in this vid the people who win are PL with large amounts of small frigate variants.

If you get this game can you choose any ship you want or does it depend on what side you are on? And what is the best ship if so?

it fits 3 siege launchers that fire torps. Those are large weapons on a small ship.
i think bombs are more of one shot thing.

you get one ship at a time (you can have as many as you want in your hangar) you start as one race but there's nothing to stop you from starting down another race's path at any given time, though you may have to train different (extra) support skills to not be terrible if you go with a second race.

You control a single ship and you can buy new ones. You can make a fleet with other players but you still only control your ship, the others control theirs. To get a ship from another race you would need to train the appropriate skills, which may or may not take a while. (A few days at most)

@Trashjack101 i know at the beginning of this tourney here they where saying that they dont think much of it.

They had ECM to deal with the small ships that ran away. Catching them would have been a bonus. They hit all of their bombs on the big ships to soften them up enough to quickly drop them. Had they held back their bombs, the larger ships may have had time to spread out, and they would have all tanked better.

Why the HELL did that Circle-Of-Two Abaddon shoot a frigging manticore? Couldn't he get a lock on Rook or that Scimi? Or any other target that actually could make a difference in that situation?

@kid29a Yea. I totally see where you are coming from kid. For me, I personally enjoy the game because it requires strategy and planning. I can see how it would seem like fitting is the only part of the game that really impacts things, which is true... but I have found that lots of PVP doesn't require a good fitting, but being quick to think. Afterburner, orbit 500, afterburner, approach, afterburner, webify, ect. Like wow, lots it based on action - reaction fighting, if you will. Cheers.

I agree. It is easy to learn to play eve if you dedicate a few hours each day to learn it.

@F3N1X0289 meee, i used my 14 day trial with the missions, and now i want to explore more with the new expansions.. from what i hear in the buddy system, you get 30 extra days of play time too.. so we all win
