Meta Just Made ANOTHER Very Questionable Decision!

In today's video, we will be taking a look at the latest news in the AR and VR Space. Starting off with Meta removing a beloved feature from the community. Oculus Homes will no longer exist taking away another fantastic feature for Oculus and Quest PCVR. After this, we will talk about the Quest 3 showing up in the store, with Meta having some sort of a slip-up and revealing the name of the device to us. We will also talk about the Beat Saber Co-Founder stepping down from Beat Games and Meta being in talks with Magic Leap for AR devices, there's also news on the PSVR 2 getting more titles and a brand new Quest Games Bundle to allow you to get your VR Games Cheaper! Look man, as long as at the end of the day I can use it as a PCVR I'll be happy. I could care less about all this home stuff. Just please don't take away the ability to link with PC. That will be the day I make the switch to a full PCVR headset.

I never liked my oculus home on rift. I prefer the custom quest environment from studio syro. but I do wish you could get the trophy items and stuff in your environment.

the home was fun to play in, cool little features like the toy laser gun, bow, basketball thing, etc...
but wasn't it forced? like *must use when you get on* ? and it took performance... a lot of it I feel. making using the PCVR more difficult on weaker hardware. so I think this is a good thing, assuming they're doing this to improve performance.. it's just a silly gimmick that should have a button to access or why even have it lol. I don't hear anyone joining each others homes.

I am super PISSED at META for this one. THERE is no need to do this with the HOME features. THIS is why I'm constantly trying to encourage the community to work together to make a way to have our own HOME environment through PCVR that's customizable where we could do whatever we want so when these servers go down or these corporate companies wanna stop supporting or isn't able to support these option we as a community would still be able to use the HOME environment for socializing on a PRIVATE LAN (Local Area NETWORK), a Private server or something.... I am so mad at them. Thanks for all you do Mysticle. Me, my family and my group appreciate you.

I miss my home on the Oculus Go and the first Ouest. you could put pictures on the wall. Invite friends over and watch a movie or youtube, play some board games like monopoly.

im 2 days into pcvr and i didnt even know oculus had a pcvr home feature… only one i know is steam home and for whatever reason it also disappeared

Damnit... I factory reset my quest 2 thinking something happend no wonder why I couldn't access my home :( I loved that space.

I know lots of people that VR they think is still just games, AR will change everything. I think if they can figure out the battery which i think could be controlled slightly by touch sensitive on off or on sleep mode to save this could replace phones

I think I'll stick with the original v1.0 home with the blimp, the jumping plant pots and the working radio.
