Evangelion is set fifteen years after a worldwide cataclysm [Aka.The Plague], particularly in the Medieval fortified city of Constantinople The protagonist is Shinji, a teenage boy who was recruited by his father "Gendo the terrible" to the council of orthodox "Nrec" [Now rescues Evangelist of Cusader] to ride a giant bio-machine weapon called a "Winged Hussars" into combat with muslim beings called "Ottoman turk". The series explores the experiences and emotions of rider and members of Nerc as they try to prevent Ottoman from causing more cataclysms. In the process they are called upon to understand the ultimate causes of events and the motives for Eastern Cristian.
