I listened to Ringo's drumming on the second side yesterday. Other than the obvious choice of the end, the other songs in the medley were amazing displays of his talent as a drummer

Abbey road will always be my favorite Beatles album. The medley will always make my jaw open. The flow of that album is the best ever. It's tied with Dark Side as far the way the songs are order as well.

In another interview, Ringo said it was because he spent so much time not playing drums, just waiting on the others to record overdub after overdub on Sgt. Pepper's. He preferred albums that were more fun, because he spent more time playing together as a band.

Ringo made a comment about Sgt. Pepper "Here we had a dozen songs not related. Paul writes two short bits and all of the sudden it's a concept album."

I used to consider my fav to be Revolver, but honestly, I think Rubber Soul might be my favorite. Both of those albums are top tier.

The greatest thing about the beatles is how they changed so much with every album but had that beatles streak running through it all, the creativeness and the way they changed the music with every album is just genius, they as a band were just on another level and a higher plain, every one else just sounded samey samey.
