Unfortunately UK isn't Nigeria
Law works really effectively

Did i hear correctly? That they should release him on compassionate grounds? Did he show any compassion to the street trader who he treated like a disposable body part? Did he care about whether the poor boy would even survive the transplant, oh i forgot poor people in Nigeria are subhuman as far as the looting politicians in Nigeria are concerned. Thank god for the British justice system, hopefully Ekweremadu, his wife and the fixer are given the maximum sentence on 6 May.

Crime is crime, no matter who or whatever you are, if you break the law then be ready to do time. Let this serve as a lesson to Nigerians who think they are above the law. The victim's life is very important here, not a senator's who should have known better.

The judge said ekweremadu has 40 known homes. That tells you everything you need to know about Nigerias political class

UK owns Nigeria, the decision is final. Big lesson to our leaders. If they had built good hospitals at home there will be no need for them to travel.

So because he is a well-known politician he should be sympathetic to his actions, nonsense, this wickedness

He and his wife should serve the prison terms because he and his failure to build hospital and running to abroad for treatment because they can afford it

No condition necessitates criminal harvest of another person's organ. No life is worth more than another.

The courts consider compassionate grounds only when it comes to sentencing, not as a question regarding the guilt or innocence of the defendant.

Fortunately, the UK is not Nigeria where politicians and powerful people commit crimes and never held accountable.
In my opinion, he should serve his full sentence as an example to others like him.

This type of person gets away with murder in Nigeria.

I know in nigeria there is no law.
The ruches are above the law, while the poor are for the law.

There is no such thing as pardon.

Ike Ekweremadu's action was inhumane, vicious, cruel, immoral and wicked.

There is no moral justification for what he did. He is a very heartless man.

The life of that poor innocent boy means nothing to him. But, the life of his own daughter means more than life to him.

The UK is not Nigeria where you manipulate the law for selfish reasons.

Justice was served because the Law is Blind.

Big lesson to all the ruthless evil leaders, Museveni and his family are selling human organs of the voiceless vulnerable Ugandans

If only the Nigeria judiciary can do justice to INEC 2023 presidential election the way the UK did to Ekweremadu then we ready to go.

The most annoying is the crime carries 10yrs. At least they should get the maximum and we should seize their properties. Yeye dey smell.

I am surprised they haven't blamed our fulani or yoruba brothers for his predicaments as they never take responsibilities for their actions.

You can see how myopic the way Nigerians here are reasoning. A crime has been committed. It has to be punished. The Rule of law takes precedence over status.

That's why it is always good to be good even for your own self. Now his daughter needs kidney they want to use their ill gotten wealth to do it and God don punish them.
